We staff our hotels with strong General Managers who understand
our management culture and have proven capabilities. We provide
them with management and financial support systems to run their
hotels effectively, and then constantly monitor, support, and
hold them accountable for their results. Some characteristics of

Decentralized Operations Authority
- Centralized support
systems and technologies support each GM and their respective
team members. Daily, weekly, and then monthly forecasting and
accountability for labor and related costs allow the GM to
manage in real time and allows them to be proactive vs.
reactive.

Regular Reviews of progress -
Monthly reviews and
comparisons with Quarterly and Annual plans are conducted. We
create action plans to capitalize on opportunities and to
address challenges that may arise. We write results-driven
performance plans for the hotel and for personnel. We not only
measure financial achievements, but also personal growth and
development plans of our people.

Maintenance and Asset Protection -
Upon takeover we conduct
full property audits on asset protection and maintenance, and
then these audits are re-visited and measured each quarter. Our
formal, written asset protection and preventive maintenance
programs involve all employees and include checklists for
quality assurance.
